Easton’s Nook is situated in the historic Forest Hill Community in Northern New Jersey. Forest Hill is the site of a number of historic homes including the Sydenham house built in 1712, and of numerous mansions that once served as home to notable artists and leaders of industry.
Easton’s Nook is 2 short blocks from Branch Brook Park. Branch Brook Park, designed in 1867 by Frederick Law Olmsted Sr., the architect of New York City’s Central Park, is a 360 acre, 4 mile oasis of lawns, playing fields, jogging, walking and bike riding paths, and miles of streams, pools and lakes. Tucked away in Northern Newark NJ, Branch Brook Park is home to more than 4,000 cherry trees and to Essex County’s annual Cherry Blossom festival.
